Apple Entremet

Apples made with apples? Groundbreaking.

I asked for apple recipe suggestions, and after searching my cookbooks, I stumbled upon an apple-shaped dessert by Ann Reardon (HowToCookThat). You know I love food that looks like other food, so I had to try it.

Making it was fun, but the mirror glaze was a challenge. Here’s the list of components:

• Apple pie filling

• Vanilla mousse
