Strawberry Basket Cake

Is it a basket or a cake?

I came across a basket piping technique from Maison Olivia and had to try it. It's not complicated, but you need a steady hand and patience.

I’m thrilled with the result! The inside is sponge cake with buttercream frosting. I initially planned for a multilayer cake with strawberry filling but backed out, worried it wouldn't hold up with all the extra ingredients.
