Golden Snitch

For my husband’s birthday, I wanted to make something special. When I saw Reynold Poernomo’s Snitch recipe and Inga Lam’s YouTube version, it felt like fate. Dex is a huge Harry Potter fan, so I had to create this edible Golden Snitch.

I simplified the original recipe, which involved intricate techniques like spray guns and tapioca maltodextrin, but this still took me 6 hours to make 😩.

Each layer is incredibly delicious and it’s one of the coolest things I’ve made. Happy birthday, Dex!
