Strawberry Milk Macarons

I bought too many cartons of liquid egg whites, so I made Strawberry Milk Macarons.

The pink shells are made with freeze-dried strawberry powder, while the white ones have milk powder. The filling is a Russian buttercream with more freeze-dried strawberries and condensed milk. They’re delicious, and I'm surprised I haven't tried Russian buttercream before—it might just be my new favourite!
