Malted Chocolate Tiramisu Cake
I have a running tradition of making my own birthday cake every year. This year I wanted to tackle a Milk Bar style cake and after brainstorming all kinds of flavour combinations, I decided to go with a malted chocolate cake. I’ve also been obsessed with Horlicks this past year so I wanted to incorporate that into the cake as well.
The components are:
Chocolate sponge cake
Ovaltine coffee soak
Malted (Ovaltine) chocolate frosting
Horlicks mascarpone cream
Chocolate crumbs
The final cake was delicious, chocolatey and oh so addictive. Happy birthday to me!!
