Tomato Choux au Craquelin

Farewell to summer with my tomato choux au craquelin! πŸ…

Inspired by @cristina_yin, I transformed cream puffs into adorable tomatoes. This was my first attempt at craquelin, and it turned out surprisingly well!

The vine and stems are made from sugar cookie dough and the choux is filled with vanilla bean diplomat cream.

These cute creations have sparked ideas for more fruit and veggie-inspired choux pastries!
